The Cold Wind and Wild Seas of Maine

Ah! After many months away, I'm back! Here's some more work from my week in  Maine. I had a wonderful time getting to know some amazing women. Here's the finale of Sue's front porch.

I started this little one of the fields...

We then went to Ogunquit for the day! It's just beautiful there, but quiet cold for this Florida gal. We positioned ourselves on a cliff and painted the ocean and town below.

I loved painting the rocks...
And drawing them in pastel...
And starting a painting and then collaging over it to create mail art!

And learning how to crack open a lobster! Thanks Christine!
(Okay, honestly that wasn't really fun. It's a lot of work.)

And then we found calmer water at the Museum.
And FREEZING wind at the Lighthouse AND I still ended up getting sunburnt!

Sue's brother graciously gave us the backyard for the day and I painted this little scene.
 And we had MORE lobster!

And then I headed out to New York!
